Lainey, a Clinical Research Coordinator, joined the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) team in October 2025 and supports study coordination across the full study lifecycle — including regulatory submissions, participant recruitment and retention, study visits, close-out, as well as lab processing and specimen shipping. She also serves as a key point of contact to help ensure smooth day-to-day study operations and high-quality research execution. Lainey graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Biochemistry in May 2024, and moved to Boston in January 2025 to start a job as a Research Technician in the Infectious Disease Division at Tufts Medical Center, working in Dr. Edouard Vannier’s lab researching Babesiosis.
