Congratulations to the nine participants in the Fall 2022 Blue Star program for completing their training on November 16!
Launched in fall 2021, the Blue Star Investigator Certificate Program is a 10-week blended learning experience that trains junior investigators in the practical skills of developing and running a clinical trial. This year’s cohort included faculty from across Tufts Medical Center and the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. New this year was an opportunity for learners to develop their own clinical trial idea during the program with the support of a mentor and resources from Tufts CTSI’s Multi-Site Clinical Research Center. The program culminated in participants delivering three-minute research pitches to an audience of their peers, mentors, and program staff.
Blue Star is a collaborative effort led by Tufts CTSI’s Regulatory Affairs and Professional Education teams and supported by more than 20 content experts from Tufts CTSI, Tufts Medical Center, and Tufts University.
