Dr. Karagiannis has experience in the design, statistical and bioinformatics analysis of genomics and other omics data, particularly in single cell transcriptomic studies of hematopoietic tissues and metagenomics studies in the context of aging and longevity. Her research focus is on the application and development of statistical methods for single cell transcriptomic datasets and other omics datasets including metagenomics utilizing machine learning and Bayesian statistics, with interest in multi-omics integration and analyses.
