Dr. Gurinovich’s training is in bioinformatics with main expertise in analysis and integration of genetic and genomic data and genome-wide association studies. Her main research focus is on analysis of genotype and whole-genome sequencing data of centenarians in order to identify rare genetic variants that are associated with healthy aging. Additionally, she works on integrating genetic data with various –omics datasets through quantitative trait loci and other analyses.
