Do you have an idea for a project involving:
- Addiction prevention – strategies to prevent a variety of addictions including alcohol, illicit substances, cigarette smoking, and gambling. This could include examining risk factors (e.g., clinical, demographic, genetic), social determinants, metabolic pathways, brain function, etc.
- Addiction treatment – social, psychological, drug treatment (new and existing), other novel approaches
Submit a two-page proposal for presentation at a Tufts CTSI Addiction Research Symposium Plus workshop on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, 9:00AM-3:00PM, Tufts University Boston Health Sciences Campus.
The workshop will focus on 3-4 projects, with the objective of assisting teams to develop proposals for future grant submission. Selected teams will receive support before and after the workshop to develop successful grant proposals.
Planning grant funds up to $5,000 are available, as appropriate, for selected projects.
