Samuel M. Gebru, Professor of the Practice of Political Science at Tufts University, is a Senior Advisor for Community and Stakeholder Engagement at the Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). He is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Tufts Center for State Policy Analysis at the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life, where he founded and convenes the Massachusetts Black Lawmakers Roundtable. Gebru teaches state government and politics in the Department of Political Science and is also teaching with the Tufts University Prison Initiative at Tisch College (TUPIT) and mentoring student entrepreneurs at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at the Tufts School of Engineering. Outside of Tufts, Gebru is the Managing Director of Black Lion Strategies, Senior Advisor at deWit Impact Group, and Adjunct Instructor at the University of New Hampshire Carsey School of Public Policy.
