Overview

Clinical and translational research is inherently collaborative. No single investigator possesses all the expertise, skills, and resources required to conceptualize, conduct, and translate evidence-based innovations into real-world practice.

Tufts CTSI’s core mission is to stimulate and strengthen research across all phases of translation—from bench to bedside and beyond—thereby accelerating the impact of scientific discovery on patient care and population health. We advance this mission by providing expert services, tools, and resources essential to contemporary clinical and translational science.

Our extensive research services support investigators at every stage of the research lifecycle—from planning and development to conduct and dissemination—while ensuring scientific rigor and maximizing potential societal impact.

Organization and Access Policies

Tufts CTSI’s services and resources are delivered through an integrated network of programs and centers. Many coordinate closely with the research infrastructures of Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center and draw on the expertise of faculty across partner institutions. Our collaborative structure is designed to provide seamless access to resources, promote cross-institutional and national opportunities, and foster synergies that enhance the impact of individual research projects.

The majority of our services are available to investigators with a primary affiliation at any Tufts CTSI partner organization. In most cases, initial one-to-two-hour consultations to support the development of grant proposals and research plans are provided at no cost.
