Since starting at Tufts CTSI in August 2017, Benjamin’s major research interests have involved the application of statistical methods to a variety of clinical and translational studies. As a biostatistician in the Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Center at Tufts CTSI, he has collaborated with dozens of investigators at Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University, and universities affiliated with the CTSI. His work has included close collaboration with researchers at the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, the Predictive Analytics and Comparative Effectiveness (PACE) center at Tufts Medical Center, and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center in the Department of Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center. He has gained expertise in using medical claims data, electronic health record data, and other large administrative and survey databases to conduct research, with applications to many health services research areas and clinical areas.
