RDC Drop In Sessions

WednesdayMarch 7

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Location

35 Kneeland Street
8th Floor Conference Room
Boston, MA 02111

Description

“Drop-In Sessions”, sponsored by the Research Design Center (RDC), are intended to help Tufts Medical Center/Tufts University researchers resolve questions on study design and analysis planning, analyzing and interpreting data, the impact of bias, regulatory issues, and the protection of human subjects for any new or ongoing research projects.

RDC Drop-In Sessions are free and staffed by Tufts CTSI epidemiologists and biostatisticians and Tufts Medical Center/Tufts University Health Sciences IRB staff members. They can help you tackle clinical research questions, such as:

  • Have I chosen the most efficient and valid study design to investigate this hypothesis?
  • How many people will I need in my study?
  • Which statistical test is appropriate?
  • Could loss of participants be a problem in my study, and how should I handle their missing data?
  • What regulatory information do I need to include in my study protocol/site-specific appendix?
  • How can I best respond to an IRB stipulation/inquiry?
  • Does the informed consent form contain all of the necessary information?

RDC Drop-In Sessions

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
  • 8:00 – 9:00 am

Please call 617-636-2215 when you arrive at the 8th floor to be let in.
