Tufts CTSI Components

The Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) provides investigators at Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine, and numerous affiliated institutions with resources to conduct clinical research. The CTRC offers an array of clinical research resources to facilitate investigators' research into the causes, progression, prevention, control and cure of human diseases, and to otherwise translate biomedical research into clinical care. CTRC Schedule of charges

Non-NIH-sponsored studies

• Nursing - $100/hr. Charged in 15 minute increments.
• Nutrition assistance - $53.85/hr
• Study Coordinator assistance - $37/hr
• Room rental - $40/hr if nursing services aren’t used
• Overnights - $1,600 – 3P – 7A – includes one nurse and one sitter
• Industry-sponsored start-up fee - $1,500 - $3,000

NIH-sponsored studies

• Nursing - $27/hr. Charged in 15 minute increments.
• Nutrition assistance - $13.46/hr
• Room rental - $40/hr if nursing services aren’t used
• Overnights - $1,200 – 3P – 7A – includes one nurse and one sitter
