Tufts CTSI was established in August 2008 with Grant Number
UL1 RR025752 from the National Center for Research Resources, National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of a national consortium with the goal of transforming how clinical and translational research is conducted throughout the country. Tufts CTSI reflects Tufts' unique emphasis on community in biomedical research by including multiple hospitals and health plans, industry leaders, community organizations, and other participants who share our vision, in Massachusetts and nationally. Tufts CTSI's promotion of collaborative, cross-disciplinary, full-spectrum translational research will have a substantial impact on how research is done at Tufts and beyond.

We are located on several floors of the 35 Kneeland Street building in Chinatown, near Tufts University's Health Science Campus and Tufts Medical Center. We are easily accessible by the MBTA orange line Tufts Medical Center T stop, and also by the bus or train terminal at South Station.
